Commercial Solar Rebates in Manitoba
Efficiency Manitoba Solar Rebate for Commercial Customers – Efficiency Manitoba is encouraging Manitoba commercial building owners to go solar through the Efficiency Manitoba Solar Rebate. Commercial customers enjoy a rebate of $500/kW of solar capacity installed.
Canada Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit – A 30% refundable tax credit for capital invested in solar energy systems. Available to both taxable and non-taxable entities.
Accelerated Depreciation from the CRA – Depreciate 75% of the entire solar investment in the year it is installed.
In total, commercial customers receive approximately 50% off the cost of their installation when combining the Effiiciency MB solar rebate, Canada Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit and tax beneifts from the CRA.
